Looking back on 2016

2016, like the previous year, was challenging for many reasons. But it finished with the Kathmandu headquarters building re-modelled and ready for use again after more than a year of work, and record numbers of patients being treated at Lalgadh, with the new outpatient buildings being almost finished as well. Our staff have been brilliant throughout, and we honour them for the way they have continally given more than we thought possible. They have unstintingly served the many thousands of people affected by leprosy that have come for help, with compassion, medical treatment and practical help that has enabled people broken by leprosy and its stigma to rebuild their lives.
