The daily battle is intense at Lalgadh!

They are continuing to deal with leprosy patients but with Covid 19, lockdowns and curfews, monsoons and many other things, life is very difficult at the moment.

Fear is rife in the villages and lots of rumours are circulating concerning Covid and it is affecting the daily lives bringing a lot of disharmony.

The work at lalgadh carries on which at times is exhausting having to work in the Monsoon heat and humidity.  They are taking extra care in screening patients and the staff are fully equipped with ppe.The relief outreach programme is still ongoing.  The hospital has permission to seek out those that are needy and provide relief.  People are grateful for the care and supplies.
