Another chance to see the film ‘I am Belmaya’
Many of you will remember the screening of Sue Carpenter’s film ‘I am Belmaya’ that NLT made available to watch on World Leprosy Day in January this year. Many reported how much they had been moved by this enthralling film and it is having its public premiere on Monday 4th October. This is taking place at 6.20pm at the Curzon Soho cinema, 99 Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D 5DY. There will be a Q&A with Sue hosted by BBC broadcaster Ashanti Omkar.
This film is a gripping and candid insight into the lot of disadvantaged women in Nepal. See the ‘Info and trailer’ link below for more details.
